Description
This starter pack contains 3D models for size 55-65 hat blocks. The Hansen Hat Block System is a modular hat block system designed around extreme versatility, customizability and cost effectiveness. It includes the main block body, The slab, which, while only one is typically used, can be stacked to change height, and the shaped “tip”. This starter pack includes the tip style of your choosing (Other styles can be purchased separately) and a hat block stand (Will require a 1in wooden dowel for construction).
Standard tip: The standard tip we use for all of our shaped hats. The standard tip is a versatile style for western and dress hats alike.
Flat tip / Bolero tip: This hat style is a simple open crown hat style, featured in bolero or boater style hats.
Bowler tip: This hat style is a simple, but versatile hat style, featured in bowler or derby hats. Can also be a good block for shaped hats as well, better suited for indented styles like the teardrop, telescope, or gambler.
Top Hat tip: an extreme tip for top hats. This tip is divided in 5 sections to allow removal of the hat block once blocking is finished.
Peaked Cap tip: a short, extreme tip for peaked caps or biker hats. This tip is divided in 5 sections to allow removal of the hat block once blocking is finished. Recommended: use 2 slab pieces in lieu of a block body
All tolerances were based on the capabilities of the Bambu A1. Printing instructions and advice will be included in the files. If you find you need more extreme sizes or if there’s any problem, contact us after purchase and we will provide help with no extra cost!
